Now a days as per Gujarat Government rules polytechnic diploma is equivalent to intermediate that is 12th Sci/Com./Arts.

So especially for Final year students after collecting their Diploma completion Certificate from GTU, You should apply for 12th equivalent certificate to Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar. With this certificate diploma holders can apply for jobs related to Intermediate (12th pass).

Documents require for 12th equivalent certificate:

• ID Proof ( Licence, Voting card, Pan-card, ration card ext.).
• Date of Birth Proof ( Leaving certificate, Birth Certificate ext.).
• 10th Marksheet.
• 5th & 6th Semester Mark-sheet of Diploma.
• Diploma completion Certificate.
